Care of Your Piercing

While you're proudly displaying your latest body piercing, we ask that you remember what you told you before you left:

(1) Before touching - clean your hands thoroughly. If other people are touching your piercing, they also should have clean hands.

(2) Clean the area of the piercing 2-3 times a day using a salt and water solution. Apply antibiotic cream to both entrances of the jewelry, then rotate in both directions (back and forth). The salt water solution is made with 3-4 teaspoons of salt in a quart of warm water.

(3) Use antibiotic cream for 7-12 days only.

(4) Continue using the saltwater solution (saline) as described above in (2) for one-two months, or until healed. A mild antibacterial soap is recommended.

Care of Your Tattoo

Taking care of your tattoo is very important, and in case you forgot what we told you when you had it done - here it is again.

(1) Remove bandage from the tattoo one or two hours after you had it done.

(2) Rinse gently with cool or lukewarm water; using a mild anti-bacterial soap. Pat it dry, don't rub it.

(3) Apply a thin coat of antibiotic ointment. Discontinue the use of the ointment in 2-3 days.

(4) Do not soak in water. Do not let the shower run directly on it.

(5) Avoid sun, sea bathing and swimming pool until your tattoo has healed.

(6) Do NOT run, scratch or pick the tattoo!
